Empties refer to containers that are located along the inland estimates that ate formed inside the coastal line and which connect many interior places with the sea. The empty containers are required for factory stuffing & dock stuffing prior to proceeding for export leg. These are stored either in the Container Terminal's empty yard or at CFS / Inland Container Depots from which they are allocated to the exporters basis firm booking of cargo. These are oftentimes repositioned under shipping line's management policy & most important fact is that mismanagement in this respect may create a container imbalance in a region.
