A rail terminal at which traditional railroad activities are undertaken for sorting and redistribution of railcars and cargo. Normally these days such operation of cargo loading / unloading at railheads are not encouraged. Even rakes ( string of wagons) are not disengaged to maintain integrity of the rake system.
